Timber Hill Farm Wedding

Once in a while I find myself standing aside at a wedding, cameras down by my side, gazing out in wonder at the place I am in and the people in front of me. Not shooting, just taking a moment to enjoy where I am. Jackie and Kyles ceremony was one of those times. Leading up to that point, I spent the morning hours hanging out and shooting a few of my good friends get ready for their big day. I had worked with both Jackie and Kyle at an organization I hold near and dear to my heart- Andover Youth Services. Having gotten to spend so much quality time with them both in the years prior, I had a great deal of excitement building up to their wedding day. After a few hours of typical bride and groom prep, we headed over to Timber Hill Farm for a first look. In front of a ‘sugar shack’ nestled in the woods, Kyle got to see his gorgeous bride for the first time, and a sweet moment it was.

Going back to that moment at the Ceremony, it was the full scene around me that had me paused. Timber Hill Farm sits on a rolling ridge high about Lake Winnipesaukee, with the southern White Mountains in the distance. It was with this view in the background that I had watched the wedding guests file in and great each other with hugs and smiles- a dozen of which were my AYS family, whom it was a pleasure to see again. With everyone seated, the ceremony started and I got to watch two of my good friends say their I do’s.

The cocktail hour was complete with lawn games, which was a fun touch. Moving into the reception, we got to hear a couple of speeches as the sun dropped towards the horizon. Knowing our chance was about to come and go, the speeches ended and I snuck away with Jackie and Kyle for a few ‘sweet’ sunset shots. One two three, bing bong and the magic was captured. Time to start the party, and a party it was!

Congrats again guys! So grateful to have been a part of your big day!
