Boston City Hall Elopement

Boston in the summer. The sun is out, the breeze is warm, and the sounds of the city ring off the building walls. As I walked toward Government Center from the nearest lot I could find open, my curiosity grew about the day ahead. This was going to be my first city hall wedding, and the possibilities ahead were exciting.

Now from our calls previous, I knew that Vivian was kind hearted, but I was not as prepared for how nice everyone was, and the kindness that she, Andrew and her parents showed me during our time together. It’s this kind of whole-hearted, welcome to the family love that makes me smile so much. I could have hung out with them all day!

Their little ceremony was peaceful and sweet, with both parents smiling ear to ear. After a few I do’s and a couple portraits, we headed down the street to Boston Common. Lucking out with a few less crowded spots, we made out way through the gardens and onto Beacon Hill. Wrapping up on the iconic Acorn Street, we said our farewells and I walked back to my car in complete awe at the magic of the day.
